WINTER SOLSTICE WALK & LANTERN MAKING

Join us for an early evening family winter solstice celebration. We’ll be gathering on Kabi Kabi land at Noosa Spit Reserve for a lantern making activity and a lovely walk along the beach to celebrate the winter solstice, marking the longest night and the shortest day of the year.

The children will be guided by their facilitator Lidia to make their own winter lanterns ready for the night ahead.

Pack a snack or dinner, and bring your own cup to enjoy a hot tea.

This winter solstice gathering is a chance for both past, present and new families to come together and share a beautiful evening of connection in nature. The children will go on a beach walk at night with their newly made lanterns!

All materials provided.

*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and close supervision is required.
