GROWING WITH NATURE IN APRIL
Black bean pods are gathered and treasured by intrepid little hands – floating along creeks and water streams, they become tiny boats in search of big adventures. Trees are slowly changing colours - we watch their transition from green into a blaze of vibrant red, amber and gold.
Catch a falling leaf, and make a wish.
In April we deepen our connection to nature by working and playing with clay - a precious gift from the Earth. Malleable, resilient, smooth, moist clay is a delightful sensory experience that opens the door to endless creative opportunities and keeps children's wonder alive. As always, we allow children to lead the way.. choosing what to create, how to manipulate the materials, and what story they want to tell with their pieces. Our explorations are slow, open ended wonderings that focus on the joy of making, more than on the end product. So sink your hands into a block of clay and create with us!
