ABOUT THIS EVENT
Are you ready for an adventure? Break up the routine, immerse yourself in nature and connect with like-minded families. These sessions are fun, educational and always full of surprises!Â
AUTUMN WONDERLAND
This month we meet at the stunning Jack Harrison Park (also known as Wappa Park). In autumn this park becomes a carpet of stunning red maple leaves, which we will turn into beautiful natural art creations.Â
Please note: All Big Scrub Nature Play programs are facilitated by fully qualified and experienced nature play educators and forest school mentors, however parent / carers supervision is required at all times, particularly near water.
This program has been created with school aged children in mind, but it's open to all ages. Walking involved, so babies are welcome in a carrier. Â Children must be accompanied by a parent / carer.
How to get there:
Take the Yandina exit off the M1 and head west through the roundabout. At the next roundabout turn left into Fleming Street. At a 4-way intersection turn left into Farrell Street. Follow this road over the South Maroochy River and take the third turnoff on your right into Wappa Falls Road. The falls are approximately 5 km along this road. Meeting point at Wappa Park, near the toilets.
Time:
10:00 AM - 12 PM
Please note: Â We cannot credit any missed sessions for absenteeism or change of mind. Should we cancel due to weather or staffing, you will receive a credit for future programs. We also reserve the right to cancel the session if a minimum number of bookings is not achieved.
