Growing with Nature: Find Your Wings

Mid-spring has arrived, bringing longer sunsets, warmer days, and a beautiful burst of energy to the bush. From their hidden retreats, insects of all kinds—bees, wasps, and butterflies—are emerging into the light. As the streets and paths carpet themselves in delicate purple jacaranda petals, the entire landscape signals a time of joyful growth and rejuvenation.

Our October Growing with Nature Gathering centers around the theme "Find Your Wings." While this workshop offers an enriching educational and cultural experience for the whole family, it remains deeply child-focused and play-based—giving your children a warm, intentional space to learn, play, and truly grow with nature.

What's included:

• Storytelling Circle: We will open our morning wrapped in community connection beneath the shade of the trees. Together, we will share a cozy seasonal story, exploring the essence of spring—a time of both fragile beauty and immense determination as life bursts forth from every corner.

  
  

• Guided Exploration: We will tune our senses to the flutter of wings around us and learn about our magnificent local varieties of butterflies. Together, we will discover their migration patterns and life cycles. There is so much more to butterflies than wonderfully coloured wings!

  
  

• Seasonal Nature Craft: Working side-by-side with adult hands assisting little fingers, families will construct a beautiful handmade Butterfly Feeder. Using premium and natural elements, this tactile art project is designed to welcome these delicate pollinators into your own backyard, leaving you with a high-quality keepsake to keep the magic of the session alive at home.

Includes entry for 1 child and up to 2 adults, and all seasonal craft materials.

Sibling Add-on – $30 

Includes craft materials and entry for an additional child in the family. Siblings under 2 are welcome to join us for free.
