Big Scrub is a small forest school nestled among the trees of the Noosa Botanic Gardens, where childhood unfolds gently in rhythm with nature.
Here, play is unhurried and child-led, free to wander — becoming a doorway to compassion, kindness, and awareness.
Since 2019, Big Scrub has been inviting children, families, and our community to reconnect with the natural world. Through play, gentle mindfulness, and storytelling, we create meaningful experiences that nurture connection, wonder, and care for the world around us.

Growing with Nature Forest School
Early education rooted in the beauty and wonder of nature. A Waldorf-inspired forest school program that flows with seasonal rhythms.
Storytelling with Nature
Storytelling workshops inspired by nature for children and grown-ups. Join one of our classes, in person or online.
