ABOUT THIS EVENT
Gather with us beneath the sweeping branches of the giant Storytelling Tree —where stories unfold like leaves and grow wild in the warmth of our imagination.
This course invites children to listen, wonder and connect with some of the special trees living in the botanic gardens.
Just like trees, above ground we seem to be individuals, while under the surface we are entangled. We use storytelling to explore this reality, and we learn and practice some key tools including nonverbal communication, vocality, and story-listening.
Storytelling is explored creatively in its many forms and facets. We provide a supportive environment for children to share their voices through language, art, and imaginative expression.
