OPEN FAMILY DAY

Our Family Days are a wonderful pathway for families interested in learning more about our nature playgroups and forest school programs.

 

Join us at our beautiful play garden, situated within the Sunshine Butterflies Backyard in Cooroibah. Immersed in nature, surrounded by majestic trees, birds and farm animals, children and parents can enjoy a blissful morning of play and connection.

 

Through songs and stories, games and simple crafts, the unfolding seasons of the year are celebrated. Discovery and exploration-based experiences offer children the opportunity to connect first hand with the natural world. Imaginative play opportunities are created by providing open-ended natural play resources in an unhurried setting.

Activities include sensory play, storytelling, making potions in our mobile mud kitchen, a group nature craft and a farm tour where you will get to meet and feed our farm animal friends.

 

A forest school leader will guide the group, working collaboratively with parents and caregivers to ensure an inclusive and nurturing experience for all who attend. 

​

Children must be accompanied and supervised by at least parent/carer. All ages welcome, but best suited for children 0 to 7 years.
