What children will experience
The program runs for 2 hours. During a Bush Kindy session, we may explore bush tracks, look for wildlife, identify birds with binoculars or observe changes to the flora and fauna on our site. The children will have the opportunity participate in physical activities such as digging, constructing, climbing rocks and trees, as well as other fun activities like playing with mud, bushcraft, handcraft and learn to use real tools.
Children are natural learners. Our Bush Kindy program will provide children with the time and an ideal environment for them to learn in – child-led, uninterrupted play in the bush, using what nature has provided as learning materials. All activities are risk-assessed to ensure children can have fun and be safe at the same time.
